Mobile Mamograph Mounted on Chassis of Landrover KAMAZ-53215

Here we  present the most recent product of   «Roentgenprom», a  mobile mammograph (MM) mounted on  chassis of   land rover KAMAZ-53215.

A modern van, it  is  characterized by excellent heat insulation and muffling properties. The autonomous diesel rapid heating system allows to warm the van and the equipment thoroughly and get to work fast (in about 30 min.), even when the atmospheric temperature outside the van is as far as 40°C below zero.

Through the entrance, the patient gets into the medical room. The medical room is furnished with the mammograph proper («Alpha ST»), a clothes rack, and a protective screen with a lead glass window. There is also an exit. The heat screen over each doorway is for cold weather. A heat gun can also be used for additional heating of both the medical room and the personnel room.

The room for the personnel is partitioned off the medical room with a transparent polycarbonate shield. The personnel room is furnished with:

• assistant’s workbench with a notebook and a table lamp;
• radiologist’s workbench with a table lamp and an X-ray view box;
• wardrobe for personnel’s outer clothing;
• sofa;
• mini-fridge;
• air conditioner.

The room has  two  triplex windows (can be opened) with   horizontal blinds and   dark curtains so   that   the   table surface would  be  properly darkened for doctor’s work with   the  negatoscope.

The film developing device AGFA is positioned in an isolated dark room.

Close to it is the restroom with a washing stand and a toilet.

The fresh air inflow is through the three in-built ventilators.

At customer’s request, in an isolated room a diesel mini power station can also be installed; this would enable the personnel to examine patients without the mains.

An autonomous water supply system with the volume of the collecting tank 100L makes X-raying and film development possible for several days far away from water pipes. The diversion pump allows to pump water from the well 6 m deep. Due to the filter, the system is operable even with industrial water.

The «Alpha ST» mammograph has been chosen for reason.

«ALPHA-CT» is the optimal mammograph for both standard and diagnostic examination. Its advantages are: light weighted C-arc, easy-to-use control panel, and perfect dosage control.

High quality of imaging at «ALPHA-CT» is guaranteed by:

• A powerful bifocal X-ray tube with the current value ranging from 30 mA for small focus and up to 100 mA for large focus.
• An adjustable HF generator to optimize operating frequency.
• The Sychro Bucky with synchronization to eliminate grid lines from the image.

Simplicity of operation

Application of superlight С-arc, its motorized motions up and down and compressions make positioning easy and fast.

Perfect phototimer

The precise phototimer guarantees correct exposition in any situation. If the voltage at the tube is not enough to achieve the required film blackening during the preset time, the mammograph will block up the shooting procedure to avoid vain patient’s exposure.
